Herbert uses an Airport Express as an additional 802.11N access point and Airplay audio destination. Combined with wireless speakers, an Airport Express is a convenient way to bring WiFi and your tunes to a "dark" and/or "quiet" corner of your home.
In a home with Apple Devices (iPhone, iPad or iPod touches) exist, an Airport Express is a great device to leverage existing audio setup (stereo, bookshelf speakers, etc..) and expand your WiFi coverage.
